When you say something nice about yourself, it’s called bragging. But when others say nice things about you, it’s called a compliment.

Jasper Stuart House

“The second floor front and side balcony afforded seclusion and beautiful view.”

The architecture of the home was wonderful. Each room’s bathroom was modern and clean with plenty of hot water. The sheets were top quality. The second floor front and side balcony afforded seclusion and beautiful views. The back yard was spacious with a pool, lots of patio seating, an outdoor fire pit, and plenty of beautiful green lawn and gorgeous gardens. There were many different areas to congregate, including the long dining table.

“Jasper Stuart House is situated in a beautiful area, but the home itself was the highlight.”

Jasper Stuart House is situated in a beautiful area, but the home itself was a highlight. It is beautifully appointed and there are many quiet spaces to read a book and relax. Very clean and gorgeous gardens.

“We were a family of 16 and rented the entire house and
couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

We were a family of 16 and rented the entire house and couldn’t be happier with our experience . It was exactly what we were hoping for. The suites are all very comfortable and modern and there was more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. The backyard is absolutely beautiful. Diane the host was gracious and helpful. We hope to be back soon for our next big family occasion.

“The house is amazing, you can only imagine it in your dreams
or what Hollywood spits out.”

This place was a shot in the dark. Was hard to find a B&B near my event. Dianne let me stay and I was able to be with several other groups.

The house is amazing, you can only imagine it in your dreams or what Hollywood spits out. 5 rooms available, I had the king size bed and slept like a baby. Bedding changed every day freshness is key!

The house has a balcony connect to the front and rear of the house. You can sit and relax outside and gaze at the sky. This house also has a pool but sadly I was too busy with the event and missed out on a nice cold dip. Wish I could of taken more photos. This place is spotless. Dianne is awesome!

“There are Bed & Breakfasts … and then there’s the Jasper Stuart House!”

There are bed and breakfasts……and then there’s the Jasper Stuart house!

Set in the charming hamlet of Kimberley in the middle of beautiful Beaver Valley, the ‘big house’ as it’s known, easily scores a 10. The beds and linens are absolutely the best in comfort and quality. The house is so spotless and clutterless, it inspires you to head home and do a job on your own place. The well-tended gardens, arranged with sitting areas for guests to enjoy, are magazine page worthy.

And you’ll feel you’ve known host, Diane Fitzgerald all your life. She’s warm and friendly thoughtful and helpful. Where else would a b ‘n b owner loan the use of her bathing suit so you could enjoy the wonderful and relaxing ‘waters’ at Scandinave Spa in nearby Blue Mountain?

Jasper House is ideally located to Clarksburg, Thornbury, Collingwood and Meaford where you can browse for antiques, enjoy activities at Blue Mountain and find excellent cheese and coffee shops and gourmet meals. Look around Kimberley and area, too. You’ll find interesting shops and the best in home-baked breads at Kimberley General store and at Brilliant Bread in Eugenia. Then you can head back to Jasper House where it feels like going home.

“A Great Way to Spend my 60th Birthday!”

My wife surprised me with a stay at the Jasper Stuart House, along with golf at Cobble Beach and Blue Mountain. The golf was good, but the Jasper Stuart house was perfect. Since we stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night, we were the only ones there. It is an old fully renovated BandB. There are 8 rooms, all with an ensuite. We stayed in the room with the King bed. The rest had either Queen or twins. The house is fully air conditioned, which was needed due to the 30+ degree temps. Breakfast was exceptionally good with lots of choice and lots of breakfast. There is a beautiful 16 x 32 pool in the backyard with lovely gardens all around.

The owners were very attentive and very nice to chat with. They can offer you ideas on where to go, where to eat…whatever you need.

This is a great place to just get away, as it is less than two hours from Toronto. It would also be a great place for a large family get away. Either way you cannot go wrong with Jasper Stuart House.

“It Was Just Perfect!”

Stayed one night July 3rd 2016 – It was just perfect! The room was inviting, linens excellent and bed very good. Breakfast was on time and served; we will certainly return when in the area.

“Stay Here!”

I needed to go up to Kimberley, a 5 hour drive from Windsor. I booked the overnight at the Jasper Stuart House, not really certain what I would get by way of accommodation etc. It was great! First, it is very easy to find, being in the main road through Kimberley. Ample parking. The house itself is stunning. Very nicely restored and renovated, I believe 5 guest rooms, each with ensuite baths. Mine was on the 2nd floor and had a very comfortable bed, great linens and pillows, even a beautiful quilt on the bed. There was access to the 2nd floor veranda from my room, with a good lock in the door for security. I ended up having a glass of wine on the veranda and started to read my book but ended up just sitting back and enjoying the breezes and the view of the gardens. On the main floor, there is a guest living room/lounge, dining room and some very good art throughout. What was the highlight of it all? BREAKFAST!! I had asked for 8:30 as breakfast time and went down to the dining room. First was fresh and ripe cantaloupe with strawberries and mint. Then Sue brought out fresh-from-the-oven cranberry scones (so good!) followed by eggs Benedict. The egg was poached perfectly, a rare thing! Coffee was excellent and there was yogurt, cereals and juice if you want it. The gardens are gorgeous, there is a pool and a sunning area. I highly recommend this B&B if you ever in the area.

“We Love the Comfort & Style of Jasper Stuart House!”

My wife and I have spent five Thanksgiving weekends with Sue and Kerry, when we gather in Kimberley with relatives. We love the comfort and style of Jasper Stuart House, our favourite accommodations – the Parlour Suite, and Sue and Kerry who are so friendly and prepare the most excellent breakfasts.

“Everything Was Perfect!”

I found the this B&B by chance while scouting for public access points on the Beaver River. I stopped by unannounced and was very impressed with the rooms, amenities and cleanliness. Everything was perfect! It is worth noting that I have seldom seen such a beautiful job of restoring a turn-of-the-century home. Sue and Kerry were very friendly and helpful and I look forward to both returning and sending our clients who are looking for an ideally located and comfortable B&B!
